Repair operations are being digitized at the Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant
The Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant has implemented the Data Briz digital platform to support the planning and execution of furnace shutdown maintenance campaigns. The system serves as a digital platform for the collection, storage, and analysis of production data.
Data Briz integrates information from multiple sources and creates a unified digital environment for the planning, monitoring, and management of shutdown maintenance processes. This enables specialists to obtain a comprehensive overview of maintenance activities, monitor key performance indicators, and make timely operational and management decisions.
“The system enables more accurate planning, helps identify potential risks in advance, and minimizes the likelihood of schedule deviations. In addition, the digital tool will improve resource utilization, strengthen operational control, and enhance transparency in the management of maintenance processes,” said Serik Sagitov, Director for Maintenance and Repairs at the Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant.
The platform’s analytical capabilities allow specialists to make decisions based on objective production data. This is particularly important when managing large volumes of equipment and operating under constrained maintenance resources.
The implementation of the new application makes maintenance planning and execution more efficient and transparent. This approach enables the timely identification and elimination of potential losses, while also improving the effectiveness of future maintenance campaigns of a similar nature.
