Fleet of motor vehicles gets replenished at the Aksu Ferroalloys Plant

New modern transport will increase workers’ efficiency, speed up repair processes and make the working process more comfortable.
Mobile Italian crane, which came to the repair and construction shop of the plant, will become an indispensable assistant for any type of maintenance, including overhaul repairs of furnaces.

-  This crane is designed specially for work in confined spaces where it is difficult to use more powerful equipment, - notes Vladimir Rikhard, assistant of the Head of Repairs. - Its application should significantly reduce the delivery time of lining elements during the construction process of the furnace. The new crane lifts a cargo of 7.5 tons. The extension of his arrow is almost 18 meters. If necessary, it can be equipped with a high-altitude cabin. The new crane can be controlled remotely.

The new Shacman heavy trucks are easy to operate. Five trucks have already started working at slag processing complexes. Factory drivers admit that it is comfortable to work on these trucks, thanks to driver-friendly cockpit, heated seats, catalytic agent of exhaust gas and overturning protection systems – all this makes operations comfortable and most important – safe.

The company is still looking at Liugong 856H loaders. For the first time this equipment was imported also for working on slag disposal area.
- This is a trial procurement of new loaders, - says Ersen Nurtazinov, an expert at heavy machinery applications. – But we are already seeing a number of advantages, including excellent visibility of the work area.
