A new practical training simulator for electricians has been installed at the Aksu Ferroalloy Plant

At the ERG Center for Professional Qualifications Recognition at the Aksu Ferroalloy Plant, preparations are nearing completion for the launch of a training simulator designed for electrical fitters. The project will enable Group specialists to practice hands-on operational skills in conditions closely replicating real industrial environments, while eliminating the risks associated with high-voltage equipment.

The initiative was originally presented at Kazchrome’s Scientific and Technical Conference. Artyom Kuznetsov and Igor Plotnikov, engineers from the Reliability Department of the Aksu Ferroalloy Plant, introduced the concept of the training ground as an effective tool for improving personnel qualifications and enhancing workplace safety. The project received management support and was implemented jointly with specialists from the Center for Professional Qualifications Recognition and the plant’s operational divisions.

The new training facility is equipped with modern operational equipment that allows personnel to safely practice switching operations, equipment diagnostics, and response procedures for abnormal and emergency situations using simulated signals.

This new approach will elevate the training of the Company’s electrical fitters to a modern, practice-oriented level, ensuring maximum training safety while contributing to improved power supply quality and enhanced production reliability.
