Who will get the new equipment at the plant?
New buses are a step towards replacing contractors and taking full responsibility for transport services. The buses are highly comfortable and safe. They feature 360-degree panoramic view displayed on the driver's monitor, and video surveillance inside the cabin. Modern ergonomic seats ensure comfort during regular transportation. The new equipment is already in daily use, and employees note improved driving conditions and transport reliability.
– “It's very convenient that everything is now at hand”, adds Zhaniybek Mukhangaliyev, a driver in the motor transport department. “The cab ergonomics are excellent, the steering wheel is light, and the visibility is excellent. We are happy to work and our colleagues who take this bus really like the new vehicles”.
New chain loaders have arrived at the plant to replace the old models that have been taken out of production. They meet modern safety and efficiency requirements, which will make work more reliable and convenient.
- “The new vehicles have many advantages”, says Andrey Vistovsky, Head of the Motor Transport Workshop. They are equipped with rear-view cameras for safe manoeuvring in confined spaces. Drivers enjoy improved visibility and comfortable working conditions. Reliability and resistance to harsh operating conditions have also been improved.
– “The loaders have rear cameras, good lighting, and adjustable seats – everything for comfort”, says driver Artur Uzakpaev. “I am particularly pleased that the machines are stable and easy to operate. This is important in the smelting shop, where space is limited and temperatures are high. That's why reliability and manoeuvrability are the first priority. The new machines are doing an excellent job”.
Replacing outdated equipment with more modern models will reduce breakdowns and unplanned downtime, as well as lower maintenance costs.
- “Technical upgrades are not just about replacing equipment. They are a step towards sustainable development, increased internal efficiency and improved working conditions for our employees. We will continue to move in this direction and strive to create more comfortable and safer conditions for our plant workers”, said Yerzhan Abdulabekov, Director of Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant.
